Loeffler Residence
This Solar Tempered Craftsman/Prairie Ranch was designed to settle into a hillside butting the Kettle Moraine state forest. With its Southern axis and Triple Pane High solar heat gain windows, views are maximized along with the passive solar gain. The 6” SIP walls, 4” polystyrene foundation foam and hybrid spray foam with blown-in cellulose for the attic keep the occupants warm and cozy. Geothermal heat and a Solar PV array make use of the earth and sun’s energy to power this all-electric house.
