PEA Builders Receives Spring Tour People’s Choice Award
(Waukesha, Wis.) June 3, 2019 — The Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) is proud to announce that PEA Builders is the 2019 Spring Tour People’s Choice Award recipient.
The MBA Spring Tour, presented by Grand Appliance and TV, ran three consecutive weekends: April 27 – May 12. This regional-site tour featured 49 model homes and one condominium by 20 MBA builders.
The three-weekend home tour drew more than 5,000 visitors from all over Wisconsin. As the only extended open house of its type in the state, the tour offers a unique opportunity to view a variety of projects and help consumers begin planning for the home of their dreams.
Visitors to the MBA Spring Tour were encouraged to vote for their favorite project and were entered to win gift cards from Kwik Trip.
The award recipient, PEA Builders, showcased the beautiful Harvest Farmhouse, a custom designed Net Zero farmhouse in the Agape Agrihood subdivision. This 3,000 sq. ft. open-concept home features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a 3-car garage. The heart of the home is a central kitchen with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. Other special features include solid hardwood floors, large walk-in pantry, professional appliances, hand crafted built-ins, exposed lower level and screen porch extending into an expansive backyard. Energy features include: passive solar design, 7 kW solar panels, triple pane European style windows, super insulated, healthy/sustainable.
